This privacy notice will explain how OAN Health Doğal Gıda Ürünleri Ticaret Limited Şirketi (“OAN Health”, “Our Company” or “Company”) uses the personal data we collect from our E-Bulletin subscribers.

1- What Data Do We Collect?

Our Company collects and process the following information:

2- How We Get the Personal Information and Why We Have It?

Your personal data is procured through the subscription form for OAN Health publications on OAN Health’s website in compliance with the Law on Protection of Personal Data No.6698 (“DPL”) and its secondarily legislation.

The abovementioned personal data is processed by Our Company in connection with (i) processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract, (ii) processing of data is necessary for the legitimate interests of the OAN Health, in a limited and measured manner, in virtual mediums, automatically to adhere to the duties arising from the our contract with you, carry out subscription processes, ensure the receiving our e-bulletins, as well as manage the processes of requests, demands, and complaints received from you, providing the services that fall under the scope of the Company’s commercial activities, managing the complaints and requests filed with the Company, conducting the compliance and disciplinary proceedings, in accordance with the DPL Legislation.  

3- With Whom Do We Share Your Data?

We share your data with third-party applications and software we use in order to conduct e-bulletin activities.

We may also share your data with third parties for other reasons to comply with a legal obligation upon us.

We share your data with bodies outside of the European Economic Area. The reason for sharing with this country is we carry on our activities resident in Turkey. We take all the necessary technical and administrative measures in place to ensure that your data is transferred securely and that the bodies who receive the data that we have transferred process it in a way required by the DPL and EU’s data protection laws.

4- How Do We Protect Your Data?

We are aware of the requirement to ensure your data is protected against accidental loss or disclosure, destruction and abuse. We have implemented processes to guard against such.

Where we share your data with third parties, we provide written instructions to them to ensure that your data are held securely and in line with DPL requirements. Third parties must implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of your data.

5- How Long Do We Keep Your Data?

In line with data protection principles, we only keep your data for as long as we need it for, which will be at least for the duration of your subscription with us though in some cases we will keep your data for a period after your subscription has ended for our legal requirements.

6- What Are Your Rights?

Our Company would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. In accordance with the relevant provisions detailed in Article 11 of the DPL, the right to be informed can be initiated by the data subject and/or user by contacting Our Company of purposes of:

  1. a) to learn whether personal data are processed or not,
  2. b) request information if your personal data have been processed,
  3. c) to learn the purpose of the processing of personal data and whether these personal data are used in compliance with the purpose,

ç) learning the third parties to whom his personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,

  1. d) to request correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing,
  2. e) to request the deletion, destruction or anonymization of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the Article 7 of the DPL,
  3. f) to request notification of the transactions made pursuant to sub-paragraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom personal data are transferred,  
  4. g) to object to the occurrence of a result to the detriment of the person himself/herself by analyzing the processed personal data exclusively through automated systems,

ğ) In case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data, to demand compensation for the damage.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.

7- Changes to This Privacy Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time make changes in our practices or for legal reasons. Any updates will be shared with you during your subscrition. We recommend checking it periodically to see the current version.
